During the holidays, Ulta was having some major sales – one of which included the Miss Spa Sheet Masks for $1.99 each (normally $3.99 each). I’ve always wanted to try a sheet mask, and decided to jump on the opportunity since they were so cheap.
The Miss Spa Exfoliating Sheet Mask, “softens and reveals radiance with lemon extract.” The packaging comes with one pre-treated facial sheet mask. Directions for use are as follows:
- Make sure skin is clean. Open package.
- Peel away sheet from adhesive “face.”
- Apply to skin – matching up forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks.
- Leave on for 20 minutes.
- Gently peel off sheet mask and discard.
- Massage in remaining cream into skin.
Be careful when opening the packaging, as it is very messy. I had the cream all over my hands. After applying the mask, I was expecting it to tingle so I would know it was working. Not sure why I expected it to tingle, maybe because of the lemon listed as an ingredient, as it was supposed to be exfoliating my skin. It did not tingle. I did however, feel a cooling sensation all over.
I set my timer for 20 minutes and did some work for the blog. After 20 minutes, the mask peeled off very easy. I massaged the remaining cream from the mask into my skin. However, 10 minutes after removal, my face felt very tight, so I decided to use my toner and follow up with my serum and night cream.
After waking the next day, I noticed my complexion was brighter. Prior to using the mask I had two dry patches on my face, which is normal for me during the winter months. However, after using this product, my rough patches were instantly smooth and my skin did not look rough at all.
Kayla’s Final Thought
I liked this mask so much that I purchased other masks from the brand to try in the future. You really can’t beat the price, either – $3.99 is a great deal. I purchased my mask at Ulta, however they also sell them at Walgreens and WalMart.
