Up next in the ‘Brands You Ought to Know’ series, let’s feature Milani Cosmetics. In this post I will tell you why this brand should be on your radar. My favorite reason? You can find it at your local drugstore. Not only is Milani accessbile and affordable, they also offer great quality products.
Missed the first brand I featured in this series? You can refresh your memory, here.
WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW THEM
All of Milani’s products are inspired by Milan, Italy. With prestige-like formulas, Milani offers an amazing quality of products at an affordable price point. I especially love that they create for the woman who loves vibrant, bold colors. Milani is made in the USA and their corporate office is based in Los Angeles, California. They also do not test on animals.
PRODUCTS OFFERED + PRICE POINT
With a plethora of shades and amazing formulas, Milani has everything you could ever want in face, eyes, lips, and nail products. New to the brand? Face brushes. You can find quality, makeup brushes on the Milani website from $8-$16 dollars.
Released earlier this year, the Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer is hands down the best drug store foundation on the market right now. My favorite part about this foundation is it comes with a pump. I especially love that the shade ranges are extensive. For all of my women of color and brown skinned beauties, you should try out this brand for foundation. The foundation retails for $9.99.
Milani creates lipsticks, matte liquid lipsticks, and metallic liquid lipsticks all ranging in price from $5.99 – $8.99. You can also find lip liner, lip gloss and lip oil treatments. For the eyes, individual eye shadows will set you back $4.99, while eye shadow palettes will cost you $9.99. There are also eye liners, brow pencils, and mascara.
Looking for an affordable nail polish? At $3.99 and 37 shades, Milani will have a shade for you. For the cheeks, they also carry blush and bronzer.
The prices listed are from the Milani website. Prices listed in drug stores will vary. For example, at Walmart, I was able to pick up a Milani blush for $6.99, where as at CVS, it would cost about $8.99. Also of note, not all retailers carry the same products. For example, at my local Walmart and Walgreens they carry the foundation, but not at CVS.
